::SHOW OF THE WEEK::
To quote the Facebook event — because of, you know, journalistic integrity — "HOLY SHIT MAYOR CREEP IS TOGETHER FOR ONE MORE SHOW." Caps Lock means it's important and exciting, and that's nothing far from the truth. Back for a One-Day Farewell Reunion Tour, Mayor Creep (SZ #17) brings their thrashing slime punk to Don Pedro with Sunset Guns (Derek Hawkins and Jon Mann, SZ #10). Prepare for the ecto-coolest party in Brooklyn w/ Misdemeanors, Family Circus 9pm FREE LINK

And you gotta check out the music SHOW with Chimes (Win Scarlett, SZ #18) w/ Senators, Lost Gloves, Bodega Bay at Muchmore's 9pm $5 LINK

So let's be real...this is awesome. Eddie of pow-wow! has set up the first ever Brooklyn band lottery, which took members of bands from the local scene, threw their names in a hat (or something along those lines), and they created the super groups known as Psych Psweat, The Hut, Princesses of Wroth, Fake Cops (Real Trouble), and Scallops. Whoa.

Featuring:
Psych Psweat: Amanda B. of Crazy Pills (SZ 09) and the one full-time member of The Planes we haven't interviewed, the elusive Jeff Patlingrao
The Hut: Jim Wood of Clouder and Crazy Pills (SZ 19)
Princesses of Wroth: Seth Applebaum of The Mad Doctors
Fake Cops (Real Trouble): Nick Brooks of Mayor Creep
Scallops: Jon Mann of Sunset Guns, Paper Fleet and The Jeanies and Josh Park of The Mad Doctors

This experiment, this mad bill of super groups, it's happening for one night only and it's not to be missed. Oh, and there's free beer from 8pm-9pm. The Trash Bar, 6pm, $7 LINK

You know.

[[Monday, November 24:]]

Bonus Monday! While Mondays are usually quiet, this one will kick off your Thanksgiving week as our beloved home to ZeroFest Night 1, Human Head Records brings us The Mad Doctors (Seth Applebaum and Greg Hanson, SZ #20) in store w/ Playboy Manbaby Human Head Records 7:30 pm $5 LINK

The Mad Doctors

Woof! What a weekend! What a start to Thanksgiving week. Check out this week's Picture Dump, get ready for that tryptophan, and let's keep on killing it.
